I fell in love with Charleston at a pretty young age. And this year, Zach and I were lucky enough to get to visit twice! Two of our best friends moved down there earlier this year, and we visited them over the Fourth of July, and two weekends ago, we headed back down there for their WEDDING!! It was the most gorgeous wedding, and we were down there for 4 nights so we were able to fit in so many fun activéis with the wedding party before and after! I wanted to pull together a list of all of my favorite spots we went!
After getting in Wednesday night, I met up with a few other girls going to the wedding for lunch at S.N.O.B - Slightly North of Broad. It was the perfect spot for a fun catch up lunch before shopping; we enjoyed champagne, burgers, and a wonderful grilled chicken and vegetables plate.
Afterwards, I headed to King Street, I had an appointment at Juliska for our wedding registry! It was so much fun to pick out beautiful table settings, and they were so helpful in picking out every detail!
I made the joke that the weekend was sponsored by Anthropologie, because I popped in there after Juliska quickly to see if there was anything I could find quickly for the rehearsal dinner that night, and I was in luck! Got such a fun dress for the rehearsal, and my dress for the wedding was also from Anthro!
The rehearsal dinner that night was at Poogan’s Courtyard and I had the best fried chicken of my life. We really kept the party going, heading to Commodore’s and to say I hurt when I woke up the next morning was an understatement.
Between a slow start to the morning on Friday and some work to do, I didn’t get to explore much before the wedding which was at the Gadsden House. The food, drinks, atmosphere, band, everything was perfect!
Saturday we headed back to King Street for coffee, some more shopping (including looking at some wedding bands in Crogan’s) and lunch at 167 Raw. Afterwards we headed to the Blind Tiger to spend the afternoon watching football, and went to dinner at The Establishment.
The next day before heading to the airport Zach and I went on another walk on King Street and popped into the Hotel Bennett for coffee and went to the Dewberry Roof for lunch!
It was the perfect weekend in Charleston and we’re already can’t wait to go back!
